ELAN FINE ART presents Autumn Almanac, a nod to The Kinks 1967 smash hit. A diverse and provocative look at contemporary painting from five different and distinctive aesthetics. Stephanie Aitken’s dense reflections on our west coast; Neil Campbell’s intelligent wall paintings that ask the viewers to engage physically in their opticality; Allyson Clay’s refined colour sensibilities and irregularly shaped, colour monochromes; Landon Mackenzie’s large painted fields of colour, and David MacWilliam’s archetypal figure ground relationships.
