Job Description
PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for multiple private duty nursing opportunities in Brandon, MS (39047) .
We currently have Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN day shifts available , including weekday and weekend opportunities. With multiple cases available in the Brandon area, we can work to match nurses with a case and schedule that fits their availability and experience.
POSITION DETAILS
Location: Brandon, MS 39047
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN
Pay: $22/hour
Shifts Available: Day Shifts
Scheduling: Flexible self-scheduling – choose the CASE & available SHIFTS you want to work
AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES
Case 1 – Weekday Day Shifts
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Full-Time day shift opportunities available
Clinical needs include:
Oral (PO) feeds, Seizure precautions and monitoring, Catheterization and related care, Medication administration, Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Case 2 – Weekday PRN & Weekend Day Shifts
7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday shifts available - One PRN weekday shift available each week
Clinical needs include:
Oral (PO) feeds, Seizure precautions and monitoring, Medication administration, Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
ABOUT PRIVATE DUTY NURSING
Private duty nursing gives you the opportunity to step away from the traditional hospital or facility setting and provide one-on-one nursing care in the patient's home .
With multiple Brandon cases available, nurses have greater flexibility to find an opportunity that works with their schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care
Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition
Maintain seizure precautions and respond appropriately to seizure activity
Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions
Provide additional skilled nursing interventions according to the assigned patient's plan of care
Assist with activities of daily living as needed
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team
Educate and support patients and families regarding home-care needs
REQUIREMENTS
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Mississippi
Current BLS certification
Current TB screening within the past 12 months
Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Pediatric, private duty, seizure-care, or catheterization experience is a plus
