HOA Groundskeeper/Landscaper

  General Responsibilities:

• Remove all trash from grounds, landscaping areas and parking lots on a daily basis.
• Cut grass and trim shrubs.
• Remove weeds from grounds.
• Rake and remove leaves.
• Water landscaped areas.
• Remove and replace dead or damaged plants, shrubs and trees.
• Plant new flowers and shrubs in appropriate seasons.
• Mulch and maintain landscape beds.
• Inspect and diagnosis insect and disease problems on trees and shrubs.
• Dig ditches as needed.
• Pipe fitting and irrigation system repairs.
• Maintain grounds equipment in proper working order and keep equipment storage area in a safe and clean condition.
• Remove snow and ice from all roads, sidewalks and parking lot as needed.
• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintains safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
• Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior landscaping experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate a lawn-mower, weed and grass trimmer, snow removal equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge and use of chemicals and pesticides.
• Possession of government required licenses or certificates. 
• Must posses a valid Drivers License
• Ability to: 
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
